Dylan’s journey in AI began during his undergraduate studies, where he interned at a fintech startup, building predictive models for cryptocurrency price trends. His capstone project, focused on optimizing machine learning algorithms for large-scale financial datasets, received accolades from faculty and industry mentors. After graduating, Dylan worked briefly as a Machine Learning Engineer at a Toronto-based AI consultancy, where he designed scalable AI pipelines for retail banking clients. His academic foundation in deep learning and real-world experience laid the groundwork for his leadership role at AetherIQ.

Master’s in Data Science, McGill University
Sophia’s passion for data analytics and blockchain technology started during her graduate studies at McGill University. Her thesis explored blockchain's potential in enhancing transparency within supply chains, earning her a publication in a leading tech journal. She interned at a Montreal-based blockchain startup, where she developed decentralized applications (dApps) for fintech clients. Post-graduation, Sophia joined a blockchain firm as a Data Analyst, where she specialized in integrating real-time data feeds into blockchain ecosystems. Her ability to merge data science with blockchain innovation made her an invaluable asset to AetherIQ.
Blockchain Integration: Oversees the seamless integration of AetherIQ’s AI capabilities with the Solana blockchain. Data Strategy: Leads data acquisition and analysis efforts, ensuring accurate market predictions.

Mitch’s interdisciplinary background combines Computer Science with a strong passion for technology and design. During his studies, he interned at a smart city initiative, working on user experience (UX) design for public data visualization tools. His ability to design intuitive platforms was further honed through a freelance role developing UX for fintech startups. Currently, Mitch works as an Operations Coordinator at a logistics firm, where he oversees project management and stakeholder engagement. His organizational skills and UX expertise contribute significantly to AetherIQ’s functionality and usability.
Operations: Manages project timelines, resource allocation, and team coordination. User Experience: Designs user-friendly interfaces for AetherIQ’s platform.

Ethan’s finance expertise and deep market knowledge form the backbone of AetherIQ’s strategic vision. With a strong academic foundation in investment strategies, he gained hands-on experience through internships at hedge funds and investment firms in Toronto. Ethan has worked extensively in forex trading, portfolio management, and financial analysis, making him a trusted advisor in market dynamics. At AetherIQ, Ethan plays a dual role in crafting financial strategies and building partnerships with key industry stakeholders. His insight into tokenomics and market behavior has been instrumental in designing the platform’s economic model.

This journey began when we, four recent graduates from diverse fields of study, met during our time at various universities in Toronto. Each of us brought unique perspectives and skills, shaped by our experiences at institutions like the University of Toronto, McGill University, York University, and Ryerson University. Through countless brainstorming sessions, we identified the growing need for accessible, transparent, and reliable financial forecasting tools and set out to build a platform that could address these challenges.
Together, we combined our expertise in AI, data analytics, finance, and blockchain technology to create a decentralized ecosystem that empowers users to unlock their financial potential. Our shared goal is to democratize financial forecasting through transparency and innovation, ensuring that individuals and businesses, regardless of their background, can confidently navigate and thrive in today’s dynamic financial landscape.
